OTNS8600-DCI4 is the stackable super 100G WDM transport platform developed by Sintai Communication for Data Center Interconnection (DCI) scenarios, with outstanding features of high capacity, small size, low power consumption and cost-effective. Equipped with only 1RU height, the device supports the maximum transmission capacity of 1.6Tbps (16*100G), and can provide 25.6Tbps transmission capacity through a single fiber by device stacking. It can meet the fast-growing bandwidth demand between DCs, realize flexible deployment of equipment, create an open optical network architecture, and lead the DCI market into a new era of high-speed all-optical interconnection.

Features of OTNS8600-DCI4 Stackable Super 100G WDM Platform


  • With modular platform design, electrical layer processing, optical layer processing, fan, power supply and main control are all modular and support hot-swappable.

  • Four service slots are available, no complex centralized electrical crossover system, all service processing is done inside the card, deployed and expanded on demand.

  • The optical layer service card is highly integrated with OTDR, OCM, OLP, OSC, OA and other functional modules, and only 1 optical layer single card is required in each direction.

  • The electrical layer adopts single-wave 200Gbps and 400Gbps rates, and each electrical layer service card can support 400G transmission capacity.

  • Single Equipment supports up to 1.6 Tbps service side access and 1.6 Tbps line transmission, increasing the single fiber transmission capacity to 64×400Gbps in C-band.

  • Support 100GE and OTU4 service access, RS-FEC (100GE) and GFEC (OTU4).

  • Support comprehensive performance monitoring on service side and line side.

  • Support CLI, Web GUI, SNMP and NETCONF management methods.

  • Support visual O&M (Operation and Maintenance), with O&M information displayed via LCD screen.

  • Support dual power supply configuration, 1+1 hot backup by load share, support AC, DC and HVDC power supply.

  • Adopt the cooling design of front air inlet and rear air outlet, and provide 4+1FRU fan units.
